Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: How to ride Koraidon & Miraidon


Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players can use Coradon and Miradon to quickly surround Palladia. Here’s how players can use Ride, Climb, Glide, and other modes with Legendary Pokémon.


Pokémon Scarlet and Violet offer players a vast open-world environment to explore as they progress across three main story paths. Paldea is a massive area filled with new Pokémon to encounter, and players can use Coradon and Miraidon to spawn from the get-go.

Trainers can ride the Coradon in Scarlet and Miradon in Violet, which is a vast improvement in speed compared to walking. In addition, players can also unlock the ability to swim, climb and glide with Coradon and Miradon, and we’ll explain how to do that.

How to ride Corydon Miraidon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

trainers can Ride Coradon or Miradon by pressing the Start or Plus (+) button on their controller, Pressing start again will take the players off. Unlocking the ability to ride Koraidon and Miraidon is as simple as completing the game’s prologue,

Once you get to Naranja or Uva Academy and get information about the Path of Legends, Victory Road, and Starfall Street, you will receive a call from Professor Sada or Turo explaining that you are either Coradon or You can ride Miradon.

After the call, you must talk to Nimona about Treasure Hunt to activate the ability.

How to Swim, Glide, and Climb with Coradon and Miradon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Although it is standard to ride Coradon and Miradon as bikes, players will have the opportunity to upgrade the Pokémon’s abilities as the game progresses.

Defeating each Titan Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet will restore Coradon and Miraidon back to full health. As soon as you defeat Titan Pokémon on the Path of Legends and feed Herba Mystica to Coradon and Miradon, you’ll be able to access new travel abilities.

Here are the abilities unlocked based on the Titan Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet:

  • claf Stony Cliff Titan (Level 16): Unlocks the ability to do Coradon/Miradon run at full speed
  • bombardier Open Sky Titan (Level 19): Unlocks the ability to do Coradon/Miradon float

  • Paradox Donfan Quaking Earth Titan (Level 44): Unlocks the ability to do Coradon/Miradon slippery
  • Dondozo and Tatsugiri the False Dragon Titan (Level 55): Unlocks the ability to do Coradon/Miradon Climbing

The final upgrade would come in the form of Coradon and Miraidon regaining their abilities to be used in battle. To do this, you’ll need to complete the three main storylines and venture into The Great Crater of Paldia to take on The Way Home bonus quest.
