Terra Raid Battle events can be a challenging task for trainers, especially those with a 7 star rating. To make things easy, here’s everything you need to know about the Greninja Tera Red event in Scarlet and Violet, including dates and the best Pokémon to battle.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Greninja Tera Raid Battle Dates

Serebi confirms that Greninja Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will carry over from Battle January 27 to January 29 and again February 10 to February 12,

As with previous 7 Star Tera Raid Battles, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players will have two sets of dates to take on Poison Tera Type Greninja.

Greninja will come with the most powerful mark as players can only hold one save file. Battles against Greninja are not expected to be a walk in the park, but players should seek out the Black Tera Crystal in Palladia for a challenge.

How to beat the Greninja Tera Raid Battle Event in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

At first glance, players might think that Ground-type and Psychic-type Pokémon would excel against Poison Tera type Greninja. However, given Greninja’s standard dual-typing of Water/Dark, both Ground and Psychic Pokémon will be susceptible to Greninja’s attacks.

There’s still no telling what Greninja’s moves will be until the Tera Raid event begins, but it’s safe to expect Water, Dark, and Poison-type moves.

in this matter, steel-type pokemon Should excel in this fight given his immunity to Poison-type moves. Lucario Makes a great choice given its immunity to Poison-type attacks and resistance to Dark-type attacks.

simultaneously, toxicroc Can also prove to be a worthwhile ally. The Pokémon is resistant to Poison and Dark-type moves and will not take damage from Water-type attacks thanks to the Dry Skin ability.

Regardless of your Pokémon selection, make sure it’s level 90 or higher with the right moveset and hold items to take down Greninja. Terralizing is also extremely important as it will allow you to deal maximum damage to Terra Raid Shields.
