For years Pokémon fans have used version differences to decide which of the two newly released games to buy, and Scarlet and Violet are no different. Here’s an overview of all the exclusives for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Edition.
Since the release of Pokémon Blue and Red in 1996, Pokémon fans have had to choose between several versions of the franchise’s mainline installments. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will present the same dilemma to players as they welcome the ninth generation of Pokémon.
While most players are interested in discovering the particular Pokémon variant associated with each game, Scarlet and Violet will offer more variant differences than ever when they release on November 18.
Here’s everything you need to know about the version differences between Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

it will come as no surprise to know Box giants Coradon and Miredon There will be version-exclusive Pokémon. Coradon is the face of Pokémon Scarlet, while Miradon is synonymous with Pokémon Violet.
These two legendary Pokémon will be your mode of transportation around the Paldia region, across land, water, and air. Make your choice wisely because you will be seeing a lot of Coradon and Miradon.
It was also revealed that the Great Tusk (left) and Iron Treads (right) will be available in violet and scarlet, respectively. These Pokémon are past and future versions of Donfun found in the Paldia region. Scarlet and Violet will introduce several new past and future versions of classic Pokémon and you can check them out below.

The Pokémon Company has also confirmed that the pseudo-legendary evolution lines of Tyranitar and Salamance will be edition exclusive. Larvitar will appear exclusively in Pokémon Scarlet, while Bagion will only be found in Violet.
In addition, the Generation Eight Pokémon Stonejourner and IceQ will also be version exclusive to Scarlet and Violet, respectively.

The Scarlet Book and the Violet Book will be two relics with ancient details that appear in each game, respectively. The books are filled with pictures and sketches of unknown Pokémon and it will be up to you to track them down.

For the first time in the Pokémon franchise, players will have a different professor depending on the version they choose.
The professor on the left is one of two professors in the Sada Paldia region and appears in Pokémon Scarlet. Meanwhile, looking on the right is the Turo professor you’ll encounter in Pokémon Violet.
As you can see from the professors’ attire, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet seem to establish the ancient versus modern theme. It remains to be seen how this will affect the gameplay of Scarlet and Violet but the environment and design of its characters could be different.
Scarlet and Violet Academy and Organization
The largest city in the Paldea region, Mesagoza, is home to the academy you’ll be attending. The Scarlets players will visit the Naranja Academy, while the Violet players will hone their skills at the Yuva Academy.
According to the Pokémon Blog: “In pokemon scarlett And pokemon violetThe school’s name, its emblem, its uniform, and other details will vary depending on the version of the game you play.”
The uniform colors of Naranja and Yuva Academy differ to match the color theme of the respective titles. Pokémon Sword and Shield introduced the concept of edition-exclusive Gym Leaders, and while there’s no sign of them in Scarlet and Violet, we’ll keep you posted as more details come to light.
