Is Hogwarts Legacy coming to Steam Deck?

Hogwarts Legacy fans are wondering if the new game will be coming to Steam decks.

Hogwarts Legacy is expected to fully immerse fans in the Harry Potter they know and love on February 10. Hogwarts Legacy’s launch is still a few weeks away, but the highly anticipated game has already stormed the Steam bestseller charts. Through pre-orders only.

Players who pre-ordered Hogwarts Legacy are in store for some extra treats and bonus rewards. Some players are still wondering which platform to pre-order the game on, with many questioning whether Hogwarts Legacy will be available on the Steam deck.

Is Hogwarts Legacy Confirmed For Steam Deck?

This time, Hogwarts Legacy Hasn’t Been Confirmed For Steam Decks, will be available for purchase on the game steamBut Steam Deck compatibility hasn’t been revealed yet.

Official Steam deck compatibility is still up in the air, but even though Hogwarts Legacy isn’t verified for the Steam deck, there may still be a way to play it. This method may be similar to playing Modern Warfare 2 on Steam decks, so we’ll keep you up to date.

We do know that Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 10, 2023, PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, 2023, and Nintendo Switch on July 25, 2023.

Given the fact that the game will be available to play on the Switch handheld, Steam Deck owners are hopeful that the game will arrive for the platform as well.

Not only will Hogwarts Legacy be tailored to a handheld device, but fans have pointed out that the Steam Deck can definitely handle the version of the game that was made for the previous-generation PS4 and Xbox One.

Despite the powerful hardware at its disposal, we’ll have to wait for the game’s launch to know more about Steam Deck compatibility. With some luck and a little magic, players can enjoy the Steam Deck Edition of Hogwarts Legacy as early as February 2023.
