EA Sports FC is set to usher in a new era for football fans, but many are wondering if the rebranded title will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. Here’s what the last generation of players need to know about the EA Sports FC platform.
EA Sports are gearing up for a new chapter when it comes to their incredibly popular football sim game. The termination of the FIFA and EA Sports partnership would result in the emergence of EA Sports FC.
As the two giants of the industry part ways, fans of the FIFA franchise have a lot of questions about EA Sports FC and the new direction that awaits. FIFA 23 was available on a variety of platforms, including the Nintendo Switch and last-gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One.
Now, as EA Sports FC’s release gears up, players are wondering if it’s coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Will EA Sports FC be on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One?
When EA Sports FC Launch in 2023, It will be available on Nintendo Switch, The Nintendo of America Twitter account participated in a ‘Join the Club’ campaign that revealed the EA Sports FC logo on April 6.
Given that a new Nintendo console launch is unlikely before EA Sports FC’s release, the tweet appears to confirm that EA Sports FC will be making its way to the Switch.
When it comes to Sony and Microsoft, both also joined the campaign for EA Sports FC on April 6.
However, given that Sony and Microsoft continue to support their current-gen consoles as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it’s difficult to discern whether EA Sports FC will be available on the former set of consoles.
Once EA Sports, Sony or Microsoft confirm the availability of EA Sports FC on PS4 and Xbox One, we’ll be sure to let you know.
EA will reveal new details about its upcoming football title in July. The July reveal is likely to shed light on the full availability of the platform for EA Sports FC.
For now, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch players can expect to enjoy everything EA Sports FC has to offer, including licenses, stadiums, and teams from around the world.
