There are plenty of powerful weapons in GTA Online that you can use to wreak havoc around Los Santos, and there’s a trick you can use to get your hands on an unreleased railgun.
Los Santos is filled with various activities after joining a GTA Online session, including buying expensive vehicles, completing heists, spending time at the Diamond Casino, or blowing up other players.
There are tons of guns you can get in Ammu-Nation, but one deadly weapon that isn’t available there is the Railgun. We’ll take a look at how you can unlock this weapon in Grand Theft Auto Online.
How to get Railgun in GTA Online
To get the Railgun, you’ll need start a job with the random weapon modifier selected and exit it when you have the weapon, This trick was highlighted by the Grand Theft Auto data miner ‘Floorball’.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Log in to the Rockstar Games Social Club.
- bookmark the task pc, xboxeither Play Stationdepends on your platform.
- open the online Tab in GTA Online.
- go for jobs and then choose play jobs,
- open bookmarked tasks and then start working in deathmatch,
- In the lobby, invite someone else to do the work and then start over.
- If you don’t have a railgun, blow yourself up and stay alive until you do.
- open the interaction menu And buy ammo for the Railgun.
- Change your outfit to force a save game.
- Find a new session.
- Reload the railgun and change your outfit to save the game.
If you’ve followed these steps correctly, the Railgun will be available for you to use in Grand Theft Auto Online. If you somehow lose the weapon, repeat this process to regain it.
While this weapon isn’t yet available in GTA Online, this trick will allow you to unlock it quickly. The railgun is available in Kinetic Energy Penetrator rounds at supersonic speeds, and you can use it to take out a helicopter instantly in one shot.
Its explosive power makes it an extremely lethal weapon. The only downside is that the detonation takes a few seconds to recharge, so you’ll want to avoid being caught in your enemy’s line of sight when this happens.
