How to preload Redfall: Dates, file size, platforms, more

Redfall’s release is just around the corner, so some people want to prepare by preloading the game so they can jump straight in when it launches. Here’s our guide on how to preload Raidfall.

Redfall is an upcoming open-world FPS game from Bethesda and Arkane Studios that sees players banding together to battle hordes of vampires to uncover the mystery of the island and its monstrous inhabitants.

Many are excited to get their hands on the title and enjoy the main story with their friends, and with the May 2nd release date not too far away, one way that those who pre-ordered the game May be ready for launch.

So, for those interested in pre-loading Raidfall and want to know how big the file size is for the game on its platform, here is our guide.

How to preload Raidfall on PC and Xbox

In form of 27 April, 2023, players can now officially preload the full Redfall game, but you’ll need to make sure you pre-ordered the title first or are an Xbox Game Pass member. If you want to preload the title just follow these steps:

1. Go to the Xbox Store on your system.
2. Use search to find and pre-order Redfall, or if you’re an Xbox Game Pass member, just go to the game page.
3. After purchasing the game or subscribing to Xbox Game Pass, there will be an option to quick download Redfall on the game page.
4. Simply click on download, install the file, and wait for the game to launch on May 2nd.

Players who preload RaidFall should be able to play the title as soon as it lands on May 2 without any downloads, allowing you to get straight into the action.

Redfall’s file size is in between 86 GB to 95 GB Depending on the platform you want to play on. It’s a big file size, so you’re going to have to make sure the system you’re playing on has at least 100GB of free space.

If you want to play on PC, you will also need to make sure that your rig meets the PC requirements for the game.

• PC: 95 GB
• Xbox Series X | S: 86 GB

While for Redfall Xbox Series X | S file size is slightly smaller than on PC, you may need more than this to download additional content like Vampire Hunter Pack and Bite Back Edition content, so keep that in mind.
