It has become one of the most sought after items in Pokémon Go as it allows players to participate in raids all over the world without the need to physically travel to those locations.

Recently, Remote Raid Passes have been at the center of a new controversy in response to leaks suggesting that some limits are on the way.

How to use Remote Raid Pass in Pokémon Go

Using Remote Raid Pass in Pokémon Go is a fairly easy process. You just need to follow these steps:

  1. On the main game screen, tap the bar with three Pokémon in the lower-right corner of the screen to open the Nearby tab.
  2. Tap on ‘Red’.
  3. Choose any rad that has a green ‘on’ button.
  4. Instead of the usual green ‘Battle’ button, you should see a pink colored button that says ‘Battle using Remote Raid Pass’. Tap it and then tap Remote Raid Pass.

Once you do that, you’ll be in the Red Lobby waiting for the battle to begin.

You can also enter a raid by tapping any gym with an active raid in your field of view. If you receive an invitation from a friend, it will appear on the Nearby screen. You should follow step 1 and 2 and you will see the invitation at the top. Tap it and you’ll be sent to the gym where you can follow step 4.
