Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduced fans to a ton of new Pokémon in the Paldia region. With new Pokémon come new special evolution requirements that trainers must find for specific creatures.

Some of the most popular Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet including Annihilep, Kingambit, Armorauge, and Cerulej all require certain conditions to evolve. The new Steel and Ghost dual-type Goldengo requires trainers to follow certain steps in order to evolve from Gimmaghoul.

Here’s how to evolve Gimmeghoul into GoldenGo in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Evolve Gimmaghoul in GoldenGo Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

In order to evolve Gimmeghoul into Goldengo in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must Level up after collecting 999 Gimmighool coins,

Once 999 Gimmighoul coins are in your inventory, you only need to level up Gimmighoul to see it evolve into Goldengo.

Apart from the above method and trading with another player, there is no other way to capture or obtain GoldenGo, as it pokemon Not found in the wild.

It is extremely powerful thanks to its signature move, Make It Rain, and its new ability, Good Age Gold. Goldengo is one of the best Pokémon for ranked battles.

Where to find Gimmeghoul coins in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Getting Gimmghoul coins is no easy task and it can take a long time to reach 999.

There are two methods you can use to obtain Gimmaghoul coins in Scarlet and Violet and they include both the chest form and the roaming form Gimmaghoul versions.

There is a way to get gimmghoul coins Defeat Chest Form Gimmaghoul Scattered around Palladia. Once defeated, they will drop between 50 and 60 Gimmigholl Coins that you can collect.

Where to find Chest Form Gimmaghoul in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Chest form gimmghouls are limited in number, but fortunately they are easy to find on top of the watchtower or inside the ruins,

You shouldn’t have difficulty pinpointing their locations at Paldea’s Watchtower as these structures appear on your Scarlet or Violet maps.

Similarly, ruins also appear as rectangular structures on your map. You may need to search for chests form Gimmaghoul inside the ruins as they are not always guaranteed to appear at the top of the watchtower.

Roaming Form Gimmeghoul Locations in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Roaming form gimmghouls are very difficult to locate and they can be found on rocks, trees, road signs, ruined walls and many other structures Within Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

If you’re playing Scarlet and Violet in handheld mode, these little Gimmaghouls free of their chests can be hard to spot. Luckily, they get louder when a trainer is near, so playing with your volume is recommended.

Chasing Roaming Form Gimmaghouls is not as rewarding as defeating Chest Form Gimmaghouls as they only drop one to five coins per encounter. However, if you want to take on Goldengo then it doesn’t hurt to reach out to the roaming form Gimmaghoul when they are near.
