Halo Infinite developers apply update patch that brings new content as well as bug fixes to the popular first-person shooter title, and a new one came to the game on December 6, 2022.

Custom game browser arrives in Halo Infinite’s December 2022 update

While the custom game browser was previously supposed to arrive after Season 3 went live, Hello Anant The developers were able to add this to the game much earlier in the December 2022 update.

This new feature lets you start and join a custom game on any map and mode, including content created in Forge. After the custom game ends, all players in the session will remain in the same fireteam, and the leader can start a new custom game.

The Custom Games Browser was available in 2007’s Halo 3 with Forge and allowed players to fully customize matches. Now, it has finally arrived in Halo Infinite. However, the developers made it clear that this is a “V1” so you should expect some “rough edges”.

The Pit map from Halo 3 has been recreated in the Forge and has now come to Halo Infinite in the form of Empyrean. This reworked map features a familiar layout that longtime Halo players will remember with new aesthetic changes.

This map has two towers that are perfect for sniper duels, a control panel that is ideal for close-range combat, and rockets that you can use to blow up your opponents.
