Fortnite leaks point to new movement mechanics coming to Battle Royale such as wall running similar to Titanfall.
Fortnite is known for massive updates and content, like the graphical improvements to Chapter 4 Season 1, thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 5.1.
As well as graphical improvements, the Chapter 4 update also brings a new vehicle, the Shockwave Hammer, and Geralt of Rivia to the Season 1 Battle Pass.
As if this material wasn’t enough, the devs are planning on bringing Deku from My Hero Academia and NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo into the game. But that’s not all, as the leak revealed possible plans to bring new movement mechanics like Wall Running to the game.
trusted fortnite leaker hypex It was revealed on December 5 that Fortnite would be getting some new movement mechanics in the future. These “forward movement mechanics” include “wall running…slide jumping” and “double jump”.
Although not much is known about these new movement mechanics and their release date, HYPEX believes it may have something to do with the new Reality Augments perk system introduced in Fortnite Chapter 4.
The Fortnite wall running mechanic could be similar to Titanfall’s movement, and it currently seems the most likely mechanic to make it into the game, as HYPEX isn’t sure what the jump slide is and another user in the comments found the code. Looks to be gone in regards to the wall running mechanic.
The user who posted the code showing off Fortnite’s possible upcoming wall running mechanic claims that “the wall running ability is done.”
If these leaks are accurate, we could see this new wall running ability in Fortnite Chapter 4, maybe even in the Season 2 update. This will have fans of Titanfall and other speed-advanced games like Black Ops 3 extremely excited, but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation to be sure.
