Fortnite dev convinces players Die Hard crossover coming soon after Apple trial leak

Fortnite Chapter 4 is already here with plenty of exciting crossovers, and Epic Games chief creative officer Donald Mustard appears that Die Hard’s John McClain may be here just in time for the holidays.

With December now upon us, almost all of the biggest live service games are bringing the festivities. Apex Legends brings the Wintertide Collection event and the Modern Warfare 2 shipment map gets a festive overhaul, but of course, Fortnite will be celebrating too.

You can expect both new and returning skins in the Item Shop during the Winterfest 2022 event, and a top Epic Games dev may have teased a Die Hard crossover just in time for the holidays.

Epic Games chief creative officer Donald Mustard has tweeted several Fortnite teases over the years, including the unexpectedly early arrival of Chapter 3 and the return of Kevin the Cube, and teasing a Die Hard crossover just in time for the festive season.

Tweeting on December 10, Mustard showed a Die Hard advent calendar that shows Hans Gruber each day at Nakatomi Plaza further down, adding that “[in my opinion]This is the greatest Christmas movie ever.

Of course, there have been tons of replies to Mustard’s tweet and players are speculating that a Die Hard crossover is coming soon. And while this tweet may not be much to go on, it’s not just Mustard’s history of posting teasers that has convinced fans that a Die Hard crossover is on the way.

as a popular leaker hypex Explained, the Die Hard collab was included in a list of upcoming crossovers that was revealed through Epic’s trial with Apple. HYPEX showed the image from the document with John McClain crawling through an air vent, lighter in hand.

Mustard tweeted about Die Hard and confirmed it is a Christmas movie, combined with the document highly likely to feature John McClane in the skin, perhaps during a 2022 Winterfest event.

John McClane has already appeared in Warzone and Call of Duty Mobile, so expect him to hit the Item Shop during Chapter 4 Season 1. On top of that, there’s also the anime My Hero Academia coming in December and a collab with top YouTuber MrBeast.
