Hogwarts Legacy will allow players to live out their magical dreams and catching the Golden Snitch is definitely on players’ bucket lists, but can you play Quidditch in the game?


If you’re hoping to swing a beater’s bat, you might want to know if Quidditch will make its way to the Hogwarts Legacy. After a brief delay, the February 10th release date for Hogwarts Legacy is fast approaching, along with increasing hype for the game.

As players embark on their magical journey, they will hope to check out as many of the quintessential Hogwarts experiences as possible. One of these experiences is undoubtedly playing a match of Quidditch for one of the four Hogwarts Houses.

Is Quidditch in the Hogwarts Legacy?

Unfortunately, Quidditch will not be a playable feature or event in Hogwarts Legacy, This will surely be a disappointment for those who want to test their seeker skills.

Seeing players’ enthusiasm for potentially hitting the Quidditch pitch, the devs felt the need to officially address the magical world’s most popular sport. Hogwarts Legacy FAQ,

“Quidditch is not playable hogwarts legacy, However, broom flying and broom race challenges for traversal are part of the game. Players can also fly a broom to explore new and familiar places around Hogwarts Castle.

On the bright side, players will still have the chance to wield a broomstick as a means of exploring Hogwarts Legacy’s massive open world.

While Quidditch will not be a playable part of Hogwarts Legacy at launch, players are hopeful that it may arrive as a post-launch expansion feature, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
