Apex Legends Season 15 arrived with a bang, introducing Catalyst, a new Legend that didn’t go down too well with NICKMERCS, and a brand new map for players to explore.
Now, Respawn Entertainment is introducing a new collection event known as ‘Wintertide’ to get players into the winter holiday spirit, and we’ll be taking a look at everything there is to know about it.
When is the Apex Legends Wintertide Collection event?
Apex Legends Wintertide Collection event set to begin in Season 15 Tuesday, December 6th, 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT,
The Apex Legends Christmas-themed Wintertide event will likely last for two weeks like the previous collection, meaning it should end on December 20th, 2022, but this is just speculation so take it with a pinch of salt.
Wintertide Collection Event Skins and Wraith Mythic Skin
Collecting all 24 items in the Christmas-themed Apex Legends Wintertide Collection event will award you a new Wraith Mythic skin called the “Apex Voidshifter”.
Bangalore, Newcastle, Krypto, Valkyrie, Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Horizon, Mad Magi, Mirage and Wraith will also receive brand-new winter-themed skins in the Apex Legends Wintertide event.

Winter Express returns in LTM Season 15
The popular Winter Express LTM is making a long-awaited return thanks to the Apex Legends Wintertide Collection event. The three squads will battle each other to board and occupy the deck during their journey around the map to the edge of the world.
Players were eager to see this LTM back in the game, and this Christmas-themed event finally got their wish.
Apex Legends Wintertide Event Challenges and Rewards
Thanks to an in-game bug that released Wintertide account badges early, we also have information on some of the event’s rewards and challenges.
- Winter Avalanche: Deal 15,000 damage to enemy players in any mode
- Wintertide Wipe Out: Get 50 kills or assists in any mode
- Wintertide Restoration: Restore 2,500 health in any mode
With challenges that are refreshed daily, you’ll be able to earn up to 1,600 points per day. Respawn has confirmed that these challenges stack with your Battle Pass, so you can complete multiple challenges at once.
