The Apex Legends community appears to be disappointed with the new Season 15 Collection event, Celestial Sunrise, as they describe it as “low effort”.
Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale, Apex Legends, gets another collection event known as Celestial Sunrise in Season 15. The event has brought 24 cosmetic item collections so far, but this time the grand prize is not a legacy or mythic skin, but a reactive weapon skin.
The event also brought Apex Legends Hardcore Royale LTM, but players don’t seem satisfied, not only citing the reactive Peacekeeper skin as ineffective, citing the event as “low effort”.
Popular Apex Legends Content Creator terrace room Expressing his feelings towards the collection event on Twitter, he asked, “Why is this collection event 50% emotions?”
Clearly, Garrett is confused as to why there are so many emotes in the collection program, perhaps disappointed that there aren’t more skins and other desired cosmetics.
In the comments, players feel similarly about the Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise event, with one player even describing the event as “low effort”. Another user also claims that the devs changed the event from thematic to a collection event for “more money”.
This is the 3rd collection event in Season 15, and players seem to be missing out on exciting items due to the massive amount of cosmetic items and content, as another comment reads, “They have 3 collection events in this szn and cannot think of anything original.
Unfortunately, some players aren’t satisfied with the new content the devs are pushing, but with Apex Legends Season 16 on the horizon, maybe they can win the community back.
