A new patch has arrived for Apex Legends on January 23rd, which offers a variety of improvements including nerfs to Horizon’s casualty.
Apex Legends players were left baffled after the Spellbound Collection event update, as the community began looking for nerfs and changes for Legends that weren’t included in the patch notes.
The devs quickly addressed these accidental changes, providing some communication at a time when the player was feeling ignored.
Now, the Apex Legends January 23rd, 2023 update has arrived for Season 15, which brings some improvements and changes to the game that will be welcome, especially by Horizon Menace.
Horizon Nerfs are back in Apex Legends
After the Apex Legends Spellbound update, players noticed that Horizon Tactical felt as though his accuracy seemed sluggish when going up the Legend’s gravity lift.
It turned out that this was the case, and it was actually an accidental change, probably for a future update, maybe even for Season 16. In the January 23 patch notes, the devs confirmed that “Horizon’s tactical changes have been reverted.”
That said, players have also noticed differences between Horizon Ultimate and Seer, which have yet to be addressed.

Apex Legends’ January 23 patch notes also revealed other improvements, such as the third-person firing range Easter egg now becoming available again after players noticed it had a bug.
