Hogwarts Legacy employs some of the best voice acting talent to bring its magical world to life. Here’s a full breakdown of the Hogwarts Legacy voice cast and the characters they’re playing.

The story of Hogwarts Legacy will take players across a variety of iconic locations and paths ranging from familiar faces lifted from the books and movies to quirky characters created exclusively for the game.

While learning spells and attending classes will take up much of players’ time, the narrative of Hogwarts Legacy rests on the voice actors tasked with bringing it to life.

Some big names have already been announced for the project, so here’s a list of all of Hogwarts Legacy’s voice actors and the roles they’ll be playing.

In the lead up to the release of Hogwarts Legacy, Portkey Games is revealing the genius behind many of the game’s characters. Check out every voice actor announced for Hogwarts Legacy below:

Every Hogwarts Legacy Voice Actor

Simon Pegg – Phineas Nigellus Black

one of the biggest names to appear in hogwarts legacy There’s Simon Pegg, who portrays Phineas Nigellus Black. Phineas is the great-grandfather of Sirius Black, played by Gary Oldman, in the live-action Harry Potter film, and is the headmaster of the school when the players begin their journey.

Pegg is best known for his work with Nick Frost on the Cornetto Trilogy, which includes Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End. He has since had major roles in the Mission Impossible series as well as the latter-day Star Trek films.

Leslie Nicole – Professor Matilda Weasley

Another popular family is set to feature on the staff of Hogwarts, as the school’s deputy headmistress is Professor Matilda Weasley.

Ron’s ancestor will be voiced by Leslie Nicol, who you may recognize from her work on Downton Abbey and Amazon Prime’s The Boys. He has also lent his voice to several children’s TV shows including Sarah & Duck.

Asif Ali – Amit Thakkar

However, the talent doesn’t stop with the teachers, as Asif Ali is set to play Amit Thakkar, a student of Ravenclaw whom players will meet during the course of the story. He is described as a kind and clever magician who will help the protagonist.

Ali has also had starring roles in the Disney Plus shows WandaVision and The Mandalorian as Norm and Caban, respectively. He has also contributed voice work to critically acclaimed animated shows such as BoJack Horseman.

Candace Kane – Professor Onai

Another teacher players will be familiar with is Professor Onai, who leads the Divinity class at Hogwarts during this time period. She is also the mother of Gryffindor student Natsai Onai.

The Professor is voiced by Candace Cain, who is returning to the video game after voicing Nova in Modern Warfare 2 2022. Horror fans may also remember her as Curry in The Human Centipede 2.

Soham Kapila as Professor Satyavati Shah

The last teacher confirmed in Hogwarts Legacy is astrology professor Satyavati Shah, played by Indian actress Soham Kapila.

Kapila is making her video game debut after small roles in several popular shows including Waking the Dead, Charmed and NCIS: Los Angeles.

Luke Youngblood – Everett Clopton

Joining the list of new characters is Everett Clopton, a bully and clown found in House Ravenclaw. However, this isn’t voice actor Luke Youngblood’s first visit to Hogwarts.

British actor appeared in the first two Harry Potter films as Lee Jordan, a fellow student and friend of Fred and George Weasley. He has since landed successful parts as Sugo in Magnitude in Community and The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.

Jason Anthony – Almost Headless Nick / The Sorting Hat

Having the honor of voicing not one, but two fan-favorite characters is Jason Anthony, who plays both the sentient Sorting Hat and Gryffindor House ghost Near Headless Nick.

In a career spanning more than two decades, Anthony has been involved in some of the biggest franchises around, from Otter in Modern Warfare to Admiral Ozell in Lego Star Wars. He also appeared as Ron Weasley in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

Sebastian Croft – Player Voice 1

Hogwarts Legacy lets players customize their own character, right down to the voice. There are two different voice options to choose from, the first of which comes from rising star Sebastian Croft.

He is perhaps best known for his appearance as a young Ned Stark in season six of HBO’s Game of Thrones. However, he has joined the likes of Penny Dreadful, Love, Death & Robots and Doom Patrol.

Amelia Gething – Player Voice 2

The second voice option is provided by Amelia Gething, a relative newcomer who has already made quite an impact on our screens.

Before playing Anne Brontë in the biographical drama, Amelie, she wrote and starred in The Amelia Getting Complex Sketch Show, which earned a nomination for Best Ensemble at the British Independent Film Awards.
